Salary Band: Band 7

   

Salary Range: £57,635 - £75,789 per annum 

   

Working Arrangements: 37.5 hours per week

 

About the Role:

The States of Guernsey are looking for a Highly Specialist Dietitian in Oncology to join the team.

This pivotal role supports patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and complex cancer‑related surgery, providing expert nutritional assessment, counselling and enteral feeding support. Working as a key member of multiple MDTs, you will drive service development, improve nutritional triage, and contribute to rehabilitation pathways alongside the Lead Cancer Nurse.

You will manage a complex caseload independently across acute wards, outpatients, Bulstrode House and the community, while also offering education to colleagues, patients, carers and local cancer support groups. Close collaboration with UK Dietetic teams ensures continuity of care for patients returning from tertiary centres.

As part of a small, dedicated Dietetic team, excellent clinical judgement, time‑management and emotional resilience are essential. The role also includes audit, service evaluation and ongoing service improvement within Oncology Dietetics.
