We’re looking for an IT Security Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about cybersecurity and wants to gain hands-on experience implementing real security initiatives in a modern, fast-paced environment. You'll work alongside our IT leadership and support team, helping protect our head office, remote employees and retail studios while contributing to meaningful security projects from planning through execution. Unlike a traditional support internship, this role is centered around projects, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact across the organization. The highlight of your internship will be leading the rollout of a company-wide password management migration, giving you experience with security best practices, end-user enablement and change management. This Internship will take place from August 31st to December 18th, 2026 What You'll Do:• Play a key role in the organization's migration to 1Password, helping onboard employees, provide user support and drive adoption across every department • Assist with implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and retiring legacy password storage methods across the organization • Partner with IT leadership to ensure the password management migration is completed successfully from planning through execution • Conduct security reviews of our SaaS environment, with a focus on Google Workspace, and present prioritized recommendations for improving our security posture • Help implement approved security improvements across key business platforms • Assist with identifying and assessing Shadow IT by documenting applications in use across the organization and evaluating potential security risks • Support Level 1 IT operations when needed, assisting with hardware, software and user account requests across office, remote and retail environments • Collaborate with the IT team on security documentation, processes and best practices
