Tasks and Responsibilities• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues across Windows Server environments, including failures related to configuration, patching, performance degradation, and system outages.
• Troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines, focusing on performance issues, resource bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and host/cluster-level incidents. • Investigate and resolve problems related to Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication, permissions, and domain services health. • Monitor server health, capacity, performance trends, and respond to system alerts; identify root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions. • Troubleshoot and support backup and recovery operations, including job failures, restore errors, and disaster recovery scenarios. • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues across infrastructure services, including storage connectivity, network basics (DNS, DHCP, routing), virtualization components, and shared services. • Work closely with the service desk and escalation teams to provide deep‑dive troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems, and urgent service requests.
