Infrastructure Engineer (Remote or Relocation to Montenegro)

Job Overview  We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions in AWS and remote data centers, with a strong focus on automation using Terraform and Terragrunt. The ideal candidate has a solid background in cloud networking and infrastructure as code, excels at proactive monitoring and troubleshooting, and communicates effectively within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities • Design and deploy functional networks (mostly AWS and some remote physical data centers using LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies). • Monitor network performance and integrity. • Deploy and support Kubernetes (K8s) services. • Resolve issues and troubleshoot cloud and local infrastructure using a service desk system. • Write infrastructure code — we use Terraform with Terragrunt. • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. • Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication/authorization, disaster recovery). • Configure monitoring (VictoriaMetrics, ELK). • Communicate with internal users and Customer Service when needed. • Compile and maintain thorough technical documentation. • Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
