Our Team, Your Impact
The position is responsible for managing, tracking and measuring business results driven by a dynamic team of Inside Sales Representatives. Partner with Sales Managers to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for all sales reps. Review and analyze operational data to project sales and profitability. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Performs both micro and macro level analysis to drive organizational growth. At the Inside Sales Representative level, evaluates individual book of business to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps; provides targeted coaching on healthy product mix and cross selling strategies. Delivers training on current and emerging technology platforms to ensure adoption and proficiency across the team. At the macro level, synthesizes data across regions and segments to inform strategic planning, operational improvements, and enterprise wide initiatives that support revenue growth and organizational objectives.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, state, federal and local laws.
• Assists in monitoring and revising strategies that will ensure the meeting of specific sales goals and revenue generation.
• Assists in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports.
• Identify training opportunities for low performing sales reps to ensure success and growth
• Conducts regular meetings/reviews to ensure individual sales representatives’ performance is on target with set goals and standards.
• Work with management to develop incentive programs.
• Facilitates and makes tough decisions to address performance issues and makes changes needed to improve the level of talent and quality of the sales team.
• Motivates the sales reps to achieve and increase sales.
• Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
• Provides a high level of representative support to ensure that there is a balance between the Inside Sales Representative and the Company's goals.
• Provides leadership, representing an interface between the sales representative and the company's internal support departments.
• Provides product or service information, handles customer complaints, and negotiates reasonable solutions to issues.
• Stays abreast of new products, services and other general information of interest to provide accurate communication to customers, sales reps, and various other departments.
• Utilizes Salesforce and Tableau for customer retention calls and internal marketing communication.
• Assists in the recruiting and selecting process of Sales Reps, conducts performance evaluations
• Engages in strategic planning, developing and budgeting for sales related events.
• Conduct one-one reviews with sales reps to understand development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university required; MBA preferred.
• People Leadership Experience — Minimum of three (3) years leading people OR
• Pharmaceutical Sales Experience — Minimum of five (5) years with progressively responsible performance.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Effective Communication — Communicates clearly and concisely in verbal and written formats; able to articulate complex medical terminology to customers, healthcare professionals, and sales representatives.
• Collaboration & Relationship Building — Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with internal teams, sales representatives, supervisors, and customers.
• Leadership & Supervision — Supervises, coordinates, delegates, and reviews work of assigned personnel while supporting goal achievement and performance development.
• Operational & Resource Management — Develops and implements goals, objectives, and practices that support effective and cost-efficient use of resources.
• Problem Solving — Identifies issues, resolves complaints, and addresses the needs of sales representatives, supervisors, and customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Data & Market Analysis — Interprets sales data, identifies target markets, and demonstrates analytical proficiency using Salesforce, Tableau, and related data tools.
• Technology Proficiency — Proficient in Windows based applications (Word, Excel, Access) as well as Salesforce and Tableau.
• Business Judgment — Demonstrates sound business decision making grounded in data, customer needs, and organizational priorities.
• Cross Functional Collaboration — Works effectively with marketing, internal systems, and account management teams to support new programs and incentive initiatives.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 10% throughout the US.

Occasional:
• Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
