Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Operations department takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

Your role and key responsibilities

• Development of a process- and energy-optimized drying strategy for electrodes, taking into account dew point requirements along the process chain for the production of battery cells
• Determination of correlations between drying strategy and resulting water content of electrodes

What you bring to the team

• Ongoing studies in e.g. energy technology, mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, battery technology
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to work in a team, a good communication style, a solution-oriented approach and an independent way of working

• Knowledge and experience in the field of battery cell development and production
• Experience in the battery laboratory and handling of sensitive analysis equipment
