At Dycom, as an Internal Audit Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the company’s financial, operational, and compliance processes. This opportunity provides practical experience within a corporate environment and offers insight into how internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting support the overall health and integrity of the business.

What you’ll do

• Develop an understanding of the company’s business processes and internal control environment
• Assist in preparing audit planning documentation for assigned audits
• Conduct research and perform audit testing under the guidance of the audit team
• Prepare work papers and support the development of audit reports
• Partner with your manager to identify, document, and communicate key findings
• Evaluate compliance with company policies and procedures to help ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational data
• Gain exposure to risk assessment and control evaluation processes

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• At least one year of completed college coursework
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Ability to leverage your analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to work full-time on-site at the corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
