Java Web Developer (APAC)

We are currently hiring for a new project and are looking for talented Java Web developers to join our growing team. Role OverviewA Java Web Developer builds and maintains dynamic web applications using Java-based server-side technologies, developing features across the presentation and application layers in collaboration with designers, back-end engineers, and stakeholders.

What We Expect From You: • Develop server-side web logic using Java EE, Jakarta EE, or Spring MVC, building maintainable and well-tested application components. • Build and maintain web UIs using templating engines like JSP or Thymeleaf, or integrate with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks. • Design and query relational databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, ensuring efficient schema design and query performance. • Implement and consume RESTful web services, documenting endpoints clearly for front-end teams and third-party consumers. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive layouts across a range of devices and screen sizes. • Apply web security best practices including OWASP guidelines, CSRF protection, and XSS prevention throughout the application layer. • Maintain and deploy applications on servlet containers such as Tomcat or JBoss, supporting both on-premise and cloud environments.
