Hi, I’m Noel, founder of JobRack. We help business owners hire brilliant remote team members from Eastern Europe and South Africa. That means something quite real. We help founders grow their companies with people they genuinely rely on. And we help talented people get better jobs, better opportunities, and better lives. When we do our job well, it genuinely matters. We make a difference. And that’s something we care about.

Why this role is differentWe’re a small, tight-knit team that cares about doing great work. We take pride in what we do. We care about our clients. We care about our candidates. And it shows. Clients regularly tell us how much they enjoy working with us. Candidates often say it’s the best hiring experience they’ve had. We want our marketing to feel the same. Not louder. Not more aggressive. Just smarter, more thoughtful, and genuinely useful. This is a “build and figure it out” roleWe’re not looking for someone to follow a playbook. We’re looking for someone who can help create it. You’ll work directly with Noel to come up with ideas, test them quickly, and improve what works. You’ll have a lot of autonomy. You’ll also have a lot of ideas. The key is knowing what to do first.

What you’ll actually be doingYour job is to figure out how we: • Deeply understand our audience and what actually matters to them • Get their attention in a way that feels relevant and worth engaging with • Turn past clients into a consistent source of referrals • Re-engage people who almost worked with us • Create thoughtful follow-ups that people genuinely appreciate • Build useful content, tools, or small products that attract the right people • Turn interest into trust, and trust into conversations

This is not just about execution. It’s about judgement.

Understanding people properlyA big part of this role is getting really close to our audience. Not surface-level personas. Actually understanding: • what they’re trying to achieve • what frustrates them • what they care about • what makes them trust someone

Then using that to create marketing that feels relevant and compelling. Not generic.

Prioritisation mattersWe’ll have far more ideas than we can execute. You’ll need to be good at deciding: • what has the best chance of working • what’s worth testing quickly • what’s not worth doing at all

And then moving fast on the right things.

Where AI comes inWe’re already using AI heavily, and we expect you to be as well. You’re likely already using tools like Claude Code, Cowork, Lovable, or similar to actually build and execute things, not just write prompts or generate content. This role is a chance to really use those tools to: • build faster • test more ideas • create things that wouldn’t have been practical before • deliver better, more thoughtful experiences

If that excites you, you’ll enjoy this role.
