Junior Full Stack Developer (NodeJS & ReactJS) - with BA exposure - GS26011

This is a 12-months fixed term contract role (subject to extension).

What will you do? We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Full Stack Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using NodeJS and ReactJS, while developing capabilities in GovTech platform configuration and requirements gathering. You will work closely with experienced engineers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical solutions and deliver high-quality, scalable applications. Selected candidates may also receive training on enterprise platforms used in government digital service delivery, gaining hands-on experience in platform configuration and engagement with government agency stakeholders.   Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain web applications using NodeJS and ReactJS under the guidance of senior team members. • Assist in translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices. • Develop and consume RESTful APIs. • Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues. • Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing. • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and DevOps engineers. • Engage with business/agency users to gather and clarify requirements where assigned to configuration or BA-adjacent work. • Assist in maintaining application performance, security, and scalability. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation. • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
