Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana is the first cable manufacturing company in Ghana. The company has been in existence for 58 years and located in Tema Heavy Industrial Area.
In the light of the company's operational needs and growth strategy, there is the need to replace an operator in order to ensure continuity and meet operational targets. The Junior Production Operator role is a direct function and critical to meeting operational targets.
Key responsibilities will include:
Operate assigned machine and equipment in compliance with Nexans standards and all other applicable requirements
Ensure safe handling and storage of raw materials to avoid spillage, contamination or fire hazards.
Maintain safe housekeeping (5S) aroun machines and all other assigned working areas.
Adhere to laid down standard operational procedure to reduce scrap coiling and packaging.
Ensure autonomous maintenance and "OK to start" procedure is adequately followed to capture machine problems at initial stages
Adhere to laid down procedure for filling OEE forms
Appliant should possess the following skills:.
Must be able to work without supervision
General Education: Minimum EET/MET parts I, II & III
Experience: One (1) to two (2) years at the shopfloor
Age Range: From 25 to 35 years
Language: Ability to speak and write English
