As our European operations continue to grow, we're looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team on a major project in Frankfurt, Germany. Whether you're a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or have some construction industry experience, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your commercial career while working alongside experienced professionals on large-scale international projects. This is a site-based rotational position, so you'll need to be comfortable working away from home on a rotational basis. Flights and accommodation are provided.

The RoleReporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll support the commercial delivery of projects from tender stage through to final account, gaining exposure to every aspect of Quantity Surveying on high-value construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:• Assisting with the preparation of tenders and pricing submissions. • Carrying out quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities. • Supporting interim valuations, variations and final accounts. • Assisting with procurement and supplier negotiations. • Monitoring project costs, budgets and cash flow. • Maintaining accurate commercial records and site documentation. • Assisting with subcontractor management and payment applications. • Supporting value engineering and cost-saving initiatives. • Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams. • Carrying out site measurements and progress assessments. • Ensuring contractual documentation is maintained accurately and on time. • Supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects from start to finish.
