The RoleThis role is designed for a high-potential, early-career business development professional who is looking to accelerate their trajectory in global enterprise and government sales. Based in Sydney, you will work directly with the Global Director of Strategic Partnerships, acting as both a Junior BD and Strategic Support Partner. This is a hands-on, high-exposure role where you will be involved in real deals, global partnerships, and senior stakeholder engagement across ministries of education, large school groups, and international organisations. The role combines business development execution with strong operational and strategic support. You will help drive pipeline, coordinate complex deals, and ensure follow-through across multiple markets. This is an opportunity to learn how global enterprise sales works from the inside, with direct coaching and mentorship, while contributing meaningfully to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development Execution • Support outbound and inbound BD efforts across priority markets • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, partners, and target accounts • Assist in building and qualifying pipeline (government, enterprise, and large school groups) • Prepare outreach materials, proposals, and presentations

Deal Support & Coordination • Work closely with the Global Director to support live deals and partnership discussions • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications across multiple time zones • Track deal progress and ensure disciplined execution across the sales cycle • Support preparation for high-stakes meetings (briefings, notes, materials)

Strategic & Operational Support • Act as a force multiplier to the Global Director by managing priorities, communications, and workflows • Help structure and track key BD initiatives and projects • Maintain CRM hygiene (Salesforce or equivalent), ensuring accurate pipeline tracking • Prepare internal updates, reports, and board-level summaries where required

Stakeholder & Relationship Management • Support engagement with senior stakeholders including government officials, partners, and NGOs • Assist in managing ongoing relationships and ensuring strong follow-through • Help coordinate pilots and early-stage partnerships

Learning & Development • Rapidly build capability in enterprise and government sales (e.g. MEDDICC, strategic selling) • Develop strong commercial judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills • Take ownership of smaller opportunities over time, with a path to leading deals independently
