Food & Beverage Solutions
We have launched a new platform called Food and Beverage solutions, part of our ingredients and solutions reporting unit. This platform consolidates our current category solutions capabilities and innovation infrastructure. We support customers in developing new consumer concepts and application solutions at our four customer solution centers in Amsterdam, Bangalore, Chicago, and Singapore. Food and Beverage solutions leverages the strengths of our five product platforms, including their global and sustainable supply chain capabilities, a complementary portfolio of high-quality food and ingredients, and extensive ingredient expertise. This enables us to address a diverse range of customer requirements in the rapidly evolving Food and Beverage industry. Job Description
Key Account Manager, Food and Beverage Solutions
The role is to develop and strengthen ofi’s F&B Solutions partnership with the key accounts within the APAC region and to ensure that the full supply chain and customer service requirements are delivered seamlessly. This includes entire end to end order to cash cycle. This role will ensure active communication with the customer ensuring timely processing of customer orders, accurate invoicing and efficient cash collection. They key role is develop the business with these key accounts and grow share of wallet. This role is responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency and maintaining strong relationships with the customers. This role act is single point of contact between customers and OFI with in APAC region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The incumbent will be responsible to fully support the key accounts, focus on developing our partnership and actively grow the business for the key accounts.
- Take lead to create and handle contract management of the key accounts across all the product portfolios.
- Drive the Purchase order management for the key accounts. Responsible in aligning the customers on the weekly/monthly call off volumes.
- Partner with logistics and planning department to confirm the product availability and timely delivery to customers
- Actively monitor outstanding accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection. Proactively work with customers on delays and disputes
- Closely liaise with finance and risk management teams to remove the credit blocks detected during the entire process.
- Prepare and send regular report on order processing, invoicing and cash collection status for the key account in the region.
- Maintain the dashboard which contains details about key accounts, OTIF, dragging volume, open sales order, shipped volume.
- Proactive communication with customers and agreeing with them on the carry cost for holding the inventory on dragged volume.
- Manage entire documentation and database of the tender/quotes given to the customers on our products.
- Align with commercial team on price fixation and amend the contract accordingly.
- Responsible to work on improvement in the customer service operations for the key account based on the feedback received.
- Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives within in order to cash cycle.
Requirements
- Masters / bachelor’s degree in business with more than 5 years of experience in key account management, supply chain and commercial function.
- Customer focused mindset and experience with regional customers, external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record in managing customers relationship and growing business with key accounts.
- Sound understanding of order to cash, accounting principles and financial processes
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask, work across different time zones and deliver solid performance under high pressure to meet deadlines
- Hand on SAP experience and savvy in MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to support China and regional markets
