The Opportunity
We're seeking a strategic sales professional with proven government sector experience to lead high-value tender processes and build lasting relationships with State and Local Government decision-makers across Victoria.
This role focuses on complex, long-cycle government sales in the waste and resource recovery sector. You'll drive revenue growth while delivering genuine environmental impact for communities.

What you'll be responsible for
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting Victorian State and Local Government sectors
- Lead major government tender and RFP processes, delivering competitive submissions
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with government decision-makers
- Manage key accounts and negotiate high-value, multi-year contracts
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure commercial viability
- Drive revenue growth through new business and cross-selling opportunities
What you'll need to be successful
- 5+ years B2G (Business to Government) sales experience
- Proven track record in government tender/RFP processes
- Demonstrated key account management with government clients
- Strong knowledge of waste management industry and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with government procurement frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce desirable)
