1. Receive, register, and properly log all delivered soil, water, plant, and fertilizer samples into the laboratory information management system.
2. Ensure samples are handled, stored, and labelled in accordance with laboratory procedures to prevent contamination or loss of integrity during the analytical process.
3. Weigh required sample quantities and perform filtration or plant tissue preparation (grinding/sieving) as per defined SOPs.
4. Conduct basic soil, water, plant, and fertilizer analysis.
5. Assist the Lab In-charge in chemical analyses and the preparation/standardization of solutions and reagents (e.g., 100 ppm stock solutions).
6. Follow specific testing methods, such as water-soluble fraction extraction by boiling or stirring, to ensure valid results.
7. Carry out standardization at defined frequencies and facilitate internal/external calibration of equipment.
8. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and assigned computer systems to ensure they remain within functional specifications.
9. Input analytical data, register counts, and maintain entries through the E.Connect Portal / SMART App accurately.
10. Ensure timely refilling and maintenance of fire extinguishers and adhere to safety remarks for non-toxic or hazardous samples.
11. Perform additional tasks assigned by the Lab In-charge to support the laboratory’s quality management system and operational goals.

Experience : 1 - 3 years of relevant experience

Education : BS (Chemistry)/ B.Sc Hons (Agricultural Soil Sciences)
