The Role
As Lead Engineer, you will provide engineering leadership across Dyno Nobel's EMEA and LATAM businesses, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of engineering support, technical standards, governance and major capital projects. Working closely with operational and project teams, you'll play a critical role in driving engineering excellence, supporting business growth and ensuring assets perform safely and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering governance, technical standards and assurance across EMEA and LATAM
- Supporting the successful delivery of major capital and business development projects
- Providing technical leadership to improve asset reliability, performance and operational efficiency
- Managing engineering risk, compliance, audits and regulatory requirements
- Developing and maintaining engineering standards, specifications and best practices
- Leading and developing engineering teams while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Please note this role will include international travel.
What you’ll bring
- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience within manufacturing, construction, mining, oil & gas, chemicals or similar industrial environments
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, technical governance and capital project delivery
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic problem-solving capabilities
