Due to an increase in customer demand, CommScope is hiring Local Truck Driver in Catawba, NC. This is a 12 hour night shift 4 days on 4 days off position.

How You’ll Help Us Connect The World

This position requires experience driving truck equipment in day or night hours, all terrains and in all-weather conditions. This position covers on-site plant moves only.

Responsibilities and accountability:
•   Driving a local truck or any company vehicle as needed. •   Load and unload truck using forklift.
•   Accurate documentation of all paperwork.
•   Daily vehicle, trailer and yard inspections ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
•   Timely communications with people involved with continued operations of company facilities.
•   Ensure vehicles and trailers dropped are properly secured.

Required Qualifications

•   Must be 25 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
•   At least 4 years of CDL Truck Driver experience and a Valid Commercial Driver's License from state of residency. •   Must have current DOT physical and no preventable accident during the previous 3 years.
•   Must be physically capable of safely handling heavy freight by loading of flatbeds and be Forklift certified or willing to certify.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Previous straight truck driving experience.
