Localization Project coordinator

Side International Japan (Formerly PTW) is hiring for a Project Coordinator for our localization department. This role requires you to support the project management team in the running of projects and provides ad-hoc linguistic support (some translation and proofreading work mainly).

Duties and Key Responsibilities • Support the running of all assigned projects. This includes: • Prepares equipment, documentation for project start. • Creates progress projections based on approved schedule and raise resourcing concerns. • Ensuring translation projects run as scheduled in according to instructions provided by Project Managers while achieving the highest possible level of quality. • Ensure that the translated text is amended according to client feedback as deemed necessary by the Project Managers. • Prioritize tasks effectively • Communicated with client on operational problems in real time, actively proposing solutions where available.

Team Supervision • Ensure that the attendance of the assigned staff is accounted for and the correct documentation and files are kept up to date. • Provide support to direct reports to ensure their working conditions are adequate and liaise with other departments to ensure capacity plans are in place. • Provide feedback on performance of the staff as required by Management
