Job Overview

The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery (Auto and Manual) on the Assembly line. This includes set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and maintain product quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

Monitor and maintain the proper operation of machines to achieve production targets.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production interruptions.
Conduct equipment setup and changeovers for different production runs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
Work with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements.
Implement 5S+1 (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.

What your background should look like

Graduate of atleast vocational, technical and/or diploma courses
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
Proficient in reading and understanding part drawings.
Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation disciplines.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
Basic computer skills for logging maintenance data.
Experience with continuous improvement practices.
