External Job Description

Job Purpose
•    Responsible for developing and managing the luxury and premium wallcoverings business for Asian Paints

Business Responsibility Areas
•    Category Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-market plan for  wallcoverings, with a well-defined pricing and distribution strategy
•    Demand Generation: Build a pipeline of customers, tapping into existing database of cross functions, and building newer channels 
•    Product development –Map consumer requirements; benchmark with international standards and competition assessment. Work with design & production team to shape future offerings from the brand
•    Brand & Communication- Create the brand identity, Strategize and execute a communication plan- a reach out model to customers & leading interior designers
•    Digital Strategy: Leverage avenues in digital space to bolster the brand positioning and a targeted reach out to key influencers
•    Collaborations- Manage collaborations with leading Indian and international design houses to create a pipeline of designs and collections
•    Manage RFP’s, contracts, reports, data analysis with all internal & external stakeholders/agencies

Qualifications
•    MBA 
•    Having managed brand role with an exposure to category management
•    Preference for MBA in luxury management or a certification course from a tier 1 institute

Previous Experience
•    1- 4 years of experience in a product category, preferably home decor
