Job Overview
Oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems.
Job Requirements
Quality System Management
- Develop and maintain ISO 9001, and other relevant quality management systems
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements (UL, DNV, etc)
- Lead review and audits, drive the procedure improvement on timely basis
Operational Quality
- Implement advanced quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP)
- Responsible for product quality (IQC, PQC FQC, NCM, etc)
- Introduce quality tools to enhance the problem-solving skill and drive the improvements continuously.
- Responsible to achieve quality performance target and drive quality cost reduction.
- Build quality culture within plant.
Customer Quality
- Manage the customer concern, complaints and etc.
- Support customer audits and facility tours
- Provide profession service to customer from quality perspective to support the business grow.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans for team members
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
What your background should look like
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality control or related. Molding, stamping experience as a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in management role
Technical Skills & Language
- Proficient in quality management tools (SPC, Problem Solving, etc.)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification as plus
- IATF 16949 experience as plus
- Fluent in English
