We are currently seeking a MWD Field Technician for our Mills, WY location.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Adheres to all corporate safety directives to promote a safe working environment, including participating in safety talks and wearing required PPE.

• Conducts safety audit of well site and rig conditions upon arrival on site, and provides training to other MWD personnel on site hazards.

• Operates directional only and full service gamma jobs unassisted.

• Is responsible for the management, training, and development of any MWD personnel at the well site.

• Is responsible for MWD log generation and delivery.

• Actively participates in knowledge sharing.

• Manages personal development and keeps informed on the latest technology and strategies.

• Is responsible for the preparation of End-of-Well reports and final client data delivery.

• Is responsible for post-job debriefings

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Computer literate; competent in Windows XP or equivalent and MS Office

• Good writing skills and organizational skills

• Work for extended periods away from domicile and family at all hours of the day or night, as required and be able to perform the duties required at a superior level.

• Travel extended distances and to all areas of the U.S. required.

• On call status – 24/7

• Must pass pre-employment background check.

• Must pass pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post-accident drug screens.

• Must complete training requirements and pass MWD Operator 1 and Basic Rig Knowledge Exams.
