About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be integral to our Operations team, ensuring the safe and efficient running of our advanced machinery. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position based at our Knoxfield site in Melbourne, VIC.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures and guidelines within the Mailing and Personalisation areas.
- Perform quality assurance and visual checks using QC Matrix to ensure production meets stringent customer standards.
- Accurately reconcile and report daily production, file selection, and work order processing.
- Conduct mechanical adjustments and consumable changes as required to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure work area, strictly complying with OH&S, Security, Quality, and Environmental policies.
- Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships across all departments.
- Undertake other duties as allocated within the scope of your skill set and operational needs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a machine operator, ideally within a mailing, personalisation, or high-volume production environment.
- High-level machine operator skills, including proficiency with computer-controlled machinery and performing mechanical adjustments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent numerical reasoning.
- Exceptional time management, prioritisation, and multitasking skills.
- An effective team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks (up to 10 kg), stand for long periods, and operate keyboard/PC.
