Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for responsible for the hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of  systems and equipment. Executing maintenance in accordance with maintenance standard procedures.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Repairs: Assist in basic repairs and troubleshooting under the guidance of a maintenance technician.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Follow preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the maintenance technician.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support: Provide support to the maintenance technician during complex repairs and maintenance tasks.

Skills

  • Mechanical Skills: Repairing machinery used in production.
  • Electrical Skills: Troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Welding Skills: Fabricating and repairing metal components.
  • Hydraulic Systems: Understanding hydraulic machinery.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpreting technical drawings.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Using multimeters and gauges.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards.
  • Computer Skills: Basic maintenance software knowledge.
  • Adaptability: Learning new technologies and processes.

Previous Experience

  • Shopfloor experience as Maintenance Technician preferred

Qualifications and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
