Maintenance Technician II - Plant Services - Full Time

Position Summary: Under the direction of a Supervisor or their designees, the Maintenance Tech II performs a variety of maintenance and engineering duties including maintaining, repairing, operating, and renovating plant and facilities for the hospital. Incumbent is guided by a basic knowledge of building trades, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairs, plant maintenance methods, techniques and procedures, operation and use of department equipment and supplies.

Other Duties:

• Maintains shops, mechanical spaces, patient areas, etc. in a clean safe manner.
• Responds to emergencies in the facility, makes emergency repairs as needed and is part of weekend/holiday rotation Hospital.
• Assists in removing snow from facilities grounds and maintains grounds as required.

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Pay rate ranges from $22.08 - $34.47 per hour.
