Job Purpose

Prform general routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment, machinery, and facilities within an organization. Link to study plan:

Job Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities according to established schedules and procedures.

Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.

Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Test and adjust machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.

Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools to prolong their lifespan and prevent breakdowns.

Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment records, to track maintenance history and compliance with regulations.

Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
