Job Title: Manager – Logistics

Location: Gadag, Karnataka (Wind Project Site)

Role Overview:

The Manager – Logistics will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistics operations related to the wind project at Gadag. The role involves managing transportation of wind turbine components, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating with vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage end-to-end logistics operations for wind turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles, etc.)
• Coordinate with transport vendors, suppliers, and site teams for timely dispatch and delivery
• Ensure route surveys, permissions, and statutory compliances for movement of oversized cargo
• Monitor transport schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines
• Handle material tracking, documentation, and reporting (MIS)
• Manage inventory at site and coordinate unloading and storage
• Resolve logistics issues, delays, and bottlenecks proactively
• Ensure safety compliance during transportation and unloading activities
• Optimize logistics cost and improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with procurement, project, and construction teams
