Role: TL Plant Process QA
Position: Manager – Plant Quality
Department: Quality Assurance | Grade: M2
Reporting To: GM – Quality Assurance | Reportees: 6–8
Purpose: Ensure product quality as per process standards by minimizing defects, rework, and waste. Drive monitoring and improvement of process quality.
KPAs: Improve in-process quality, reduce rejection and rework, resolve customer complaints, reduce cost of poor quality, ensure audits and improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
- Guide shift quality teams and support strategy
- Plan and monitor inspections and control plans
- Conduct audits and review process parameters
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Handle rejections, rework, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with production, design, materials, vendors
- Manage customer complaints and analysis
- Update SAP and prepare quality reports
- Maintain ISO/IATF/BIS documentation
- Use digital tools for monitoring and reporting
Education/Experience: B.E./B.Tech; 15–20 years
