Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead end-to-end prototype builds for EV & ICE vehicles from concept to pilot stage
• Oversee fabrication, machining, assembly, and painting while improving build quality
• Plan and execute prototype builds aligned to NPD milestones with cross-functional coordination
• Handle BOM-based procurement, vendor development, and prototype manufacturing (RPT, soft tooling, silicone parts)
• Drive process excellence through SOPs, work instructions, and DFM/DFA/DFMEA/PFMEA practices
• Manage facilities, tooling, jigs/fixtures, budget, and manpower for prototype operations
• Lead project tracking, supplier coordination, cost optimization (VAVE), and team performance development

Experience

10 to 12 years experience

Industry Preferred

Automotive

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech

General Requirements

Prototype manufacturing, integration

RPT / Silicone / Fabrication knowledge
