5–8 years in content marketing, lifecycle/email marketing, or marketing communications—ideally in membership or community-led organizations where segmentation is critical.
Experience working with lawyers on communications
Demonstrated ability to own and execute a content calendar end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and sign-off.
Strong copywriting and editing skills with a consistent brand voice adaptable to members, sponsors, and prospects.
Deep understanding of email/lifecycle marketing tactics: audience segmentation, nurture and re-engagement flows, and measurement.
Proven ability to translate business and product strategy into high-performing external-facing content.
Power user of marketing automation tools (ideally HubSpot, but other major ESP/CRM platforms welcome).
Fluent in analytics: comfortable interpreting open/click/conversion data and applying learnings to iterate messaging.
Everyday proficiency in AI content tools, with sound judgment for when human review is essential.
Experience managing a mix of contractors/freelancers and internal contributors; people-leadership or mentoring is a plus.
Comfortable as the voice behind both sponsor- and member-facing communications.
