Role Summary
The Marketing Execution Excellence Specialist takes the lead in turning innovation plans into reality. Acting as the central project manager from a marketing perspective, this role leads the end-to-end execution process from the initial marketer debrief to final project delivery. By navigating ambiguity, establishing process fundamentals, and driving cross-functional alignment, this team member accelerates speed-to-market and builds a lasting competitive advantage for Colgate-Palmolive
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & management: drives innovation execution process, driving time management, coordinating cross-functional team, and ensuring on-time task completion
- Hands-On Execution: beyond traditional project management actively executing essential marketing deliverables
- Process Harmonization: defining and creating new process fundamentals. Continuously simplify and harmonize innovation workflows to improve agility and speed-to-market
- Hub Collaboration: direct collaborator with Hub Execution Excellence teams to complete critical marketing milestones for project completion
- Cross-Functional Synergy: lead execution from a marketing perspective, building strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field
- At least 4–6 years of experience in project management, marketing execution, commercial operations
- Hybrid skillset with a proven ability to seamlessly pivot between high-level project management and hands-on task execution
- High level of autonomy , drive, and accountability; capable of taking ownership of projects and moving them forward while managing complexity with confidence
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong work relationships across divisional marketing, regional hubs, and cross-functional teams
- Proven adaptability and comfort undergoing transformation and process change
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in CPG/FMCG innovation processes, preferably within a regional or global organization
- Demonstrated ability to build, harmonize, and simplify processes from scratch across different categories or geographies
- Deep understanding of marketing inputs for product launches, including artwork processes, copy sheets, and SKU master data management
- Resilient and persuasive, with the ability to influence without direct authority, adjust strategies quickly, and pivot when necessary
