Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator)- 1st Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL facility! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.47 per hour.

Qualifications:

In this function, you will:

  • Stage, organize, and gather materials for upcoming production orders.
  • Perform SAP transactions.
  • Move materials into the designated departments and maintain appropriate stock levels to support production needs.
  • Operate the bander safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Prior forklift experience.

 

Position Success Criteria:

  • Licensed or ability to get and maintain license to operate a power-industrial forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and/or move for prolonged periods of time during the workshift as required by operational needs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to raise arms above shoulder level and perform overhead work as required with or without reasonable accommodation.
