Your role: As a Mechanical Engineering Intern in the drone industry, you will assist in the design of mechanical components and systems for innovative drone and payload products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, electronics, and software engineering, gaining valuable experience in the integration of mechanical designs to ensure exceptional drone and payload performance. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to apply your engineering skills while contributing to real-world projects in a dynamic, cutting-edge environment. What you will own: • Designing mechanical components for drones or payloads • Using CAD software (such as SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for drone or payload components and systems • Collaborating with electronics engineers to integrate mechanical designs with electrical systems • Assisting in the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of drone or payload prototypes, analyzing performance data, and contributing to design improvements
