Mid QA Executive

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Executive with 3–5 years of experience in manual software testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements. This role is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level QA professional to grow and contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: • Assist in developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software meets quality standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Execution: • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). • Validate bug fixes and execute re-tests to ensure issue resolution.

Quality Assurance: • Ensure adherence to established QA methodologies and best practices. • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. • Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test results.

Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with development, product management, and design teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues. • Provide regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks to stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports. • Prepare clear and concise test execution reports for management and stakeholders.
