Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Once trained, must be able to properly lock-out all required equipment and assist other teammates in doing so.
• Must be able to demonstrate proper communication skills between shifts and departments.
• Must be able to clearly and efficiently document completed in work in D365 asset management system.
• Willing to work overtime to meet training requirements and increase skillset as needed.
• General industrial electrical experience.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of LOTOTO

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 year technical degree
• Participation in Safety teams or programs
