About the opportunity
The National Standards PMO Lead is responsible for coordinating and enabling the structured implementation, governance and continuous delivery of the Personal Injury National Standards across member organisations and jurisdictions (including international).
Operating as a central Program Management Office (PMO) function, this role ensures alignment across multiple workstreams including Learning Content, Assessment Models, Governance Frameworks, Licensing, Reporting and Industry Adoption to deliver a nationally consistent capability uplift program.
The role provides program discipline, delivery oversight, stakeholder coordination and operational integration to ensure National Standards transition from design to scalable implementation.
Key accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate the National Standards Program for PIEF by maintaining the delivery framework and acting as a central point of contact across all streams of National Standards
- Manage the program delivery, overseeing schedules, milestones, deliverables, interdependencies and being the key conduit for National Standards between PIEF and its members
- Representing PIEF at governance bodies presenting program reports, dashboards and delivering executive updates
- Support governance structures including Board, Sub-Committee and Working Groups to ensure clear decision pathways and program oversight and prepare program reporting, dashboards and status updates for executive and industry stakeholders
- Coordinate the transition of National Standards from design into operational delivery within member organisations and support pilot programs, staged rollouts and onboarding of participating organisations
- Act as a central liaison between regulators, scheme owners, insurers and delivery partners participating in National Standards implementation
- Facilitate cross-jurisdiction collaboration to ensure shared learning and aligned execution and support working groups and subject matter experts contributing to continuous refinement
- Support the operationalisation of licensing, assessment and credentialing models associated with National Standards and lead onboarding processes for organisations adopting NS products and services

Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in program management, PMO coordination or large multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Claims Management or Program Management experience within the personal injury insurance industry
- Strong stakeholder coordination capability across industry, government or member-based environments
- Ability to manage complex delivery environments involving parallel workstreams and governance layers
- Experience translating strategy into structured implementation plans
- Strong organisational, reporting and risk management skills
- Familiarity with capability frameworks, learning programs or accreditation models desirable
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in business, project/program management, education, or related discipline (desirable)
- Personal Injury Industry Insurance qualifications (desirable)
