Divisional Overview:
Shared Services Group provides key services to support trading activities within GM, IBD and IWM businesses. Scope of services include clearing & settlement, new issuance, ISDA confirmations, corporate actions, asset servicing, listed derivatives, cash management and banking relationship (Netman) functions.

The Securities Settlements group within Shared Services is a strategic function managing the settlement lifecycle of securities transactions across global markets. With daily settlement volumes exceeding several billion dollars, this critical operation ensures financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities:
- The Securities Settlements group within Shared Services manages daily settlement operations and process improvements for securities transactions. This role oversees settlement teams, handles complex issues, and implements operational enhancements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- The position focuses on executing automation initiatives, implementing new technologies, and managing daily settlement efficiency. Key responsibilities include optimizing settlement processes, reducing fails, and supporting AI/digital transformation projects. The role requires strong operational knowledge to identify and implement process improvements.
- Value creation comes through efficient team management, process streamlining, and reduction in settlement fails and operational costs. The role involves coordinating with key stakeholders including operations teams, technology partners, and external vendors.
