Position Details• Start Date: Immediate, upon completion of recruitment and onboarding • Location: 100% remote — must be based in South Africa • Students: Young learners aged 4–16, based in China, proficiency A1–C1 • Class Type: One-on-one and one-on-two (max two learners per class) • Language of Instruction: English • Platform: ClassIn • Rate: US$6.50 per hour • Class Duration: 25 minutes (regular); 21–25 minutes (demo) • Contract Type: Independent Contractor (remote) • Hours: Minimum 14 hours per week, within the teaching window of 12:00–15:30 SAST (18:00–21:30 BJT), Monday to Sunday. You decide how to spread your hours — up to a maximum of six days a week. • Bookings: Hours run on student bookings rather than fixed guaranteed hours. Reliable teachers with regular students tend to build steady, recurring schedules.
