Job Duties: The Department of Computer Science at Bucknell University welcomes applications for a full-time, in-person,** **three-year renewable Professional Track position to begin in the fall semester of 2026. The starting rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We seek dynamic educators who are excited to teach foundational undergraduate Computer Science courses such as Introduction to Computer Science, Data Structures, Software Engineering, Computer Organization, Algorithm Design, and Computing Ethics in Society. There may also be opportunities to teach courses beyond the core curriculum. We encourage applications from individuals with expertise in any field of Computer Science and related fields. This position is a full-time, in-person, nine-month annually, benefits-eligible, exempt faculty, three-year renewable position.

Responsibilities: The individual in this position will effectively teach six courses per year (with lab sections counting as a half course). Individuals will also be expected to engage in service at the department, college, and/or university level. This service may include advising and mentoring students, participating in curriculum development and assessment, and serving on faculty committees. There are also opportunities for research activities, but no requirement.
