THE OPPORTUNITY

The Operations Officer plays a key role in keeping the Indonesia Country Program running smoothly day to day by coordinating logistics, administration, procurement, and office operations—making sure everything behind the scenes works efficiently so program teams can focus on delivery. This is a hands-on role where your organisation skills and attention to detail will directly shape how effectively we operate.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Officer will own the outcomes of:

  • Operational Administration & Logistics - Lead the coordination of travel, meetings, and field activities, ensuring operational arrangements are seamless, timely, and aligned with program priorities.
  • Procurement & Vendor Support - Support and uphold strong procurement practices—from sourcing to supplier coordination, ensuring transparency, compliance, and value for money.
  • Office & Asset Management - Oversee the effective management of office operations, assets, and supplies, maintaining a well-functioning and organised work environment.
  • Compliance & Documentation - Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready operational records, supporting compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
  • Coordination & Team Support - Act as a key operational link across program, finance, and partner teams, ensuring operations are aligned with delivery needs and enabling smooth program implementation.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Degree or diploma in business, management, or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in operations, admin, logistics, or coordination
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset (NGO/INGO experience a plus)
