This role in summary

 

Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Analyst, Operations/Production.

This role will be onsite at our Marion Manufacturing facility. This is a 3rd Shift role, working M-F 10pm to 6:30 am 

The Operations/Production Analyst leads an entire assembly line at Marion Operations in pursuit of all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives. This position is the direct people leader of the team consisting  of an area coordinator, group leaders, and operators who are responsible for daily production for that line/shift.

Your responsibilities will include

 

  • Lead production activities to meet customer demand as set by the level plan
  • Drive improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives for the department
  • Implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods and tools into daily operations
  • Direct, develop, support, and assess the team members as their people leader
  • Complete daily time & attendance records in UKG for direct reports

Minimum requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing environment

Preferred skills and experiences

 

  • Bachelor’s  Degree in Operations or Engineering
  • Computer skills including Google workspace suite
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and developing large teams of employees
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience implementing problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Project management skills
