Outbound Sales Consultant – E-Waste (Entry-Level Opportunity | Office-Based Role)

 

Are you looking to start your career in sales and build valuable, in-demand skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment?

 

Shred-X is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Outbound Sales Consultant, focusing on our growing E-Waste and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to break into the sales industry, develop confidence on the phone, and learn how to turn conversations into real business outcomes.

 

This is a fully office-based role, working onsite each day alongside our Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams. You’ll receive hands-on training, ongoing support, and the chance to build a rewarding career in sales.

 

What you’ll do

• Learn how to engage customers through high-volume outbound calls
• Connect with existing customers to introduce and promote E-Waste and ITAD services
• Build confidence in identifying customer needs and offering tailored solutions• Develop strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Work towards achievable sales targets with support from your team and manager
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system
• Learn how to handle objections and close sales opportunities effectively
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Contribute to a positive, energetic, and team-focused office culture

 

What we’re looking for

• A positive attitude and genuine interest in starting a career in sales
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
• Resilience and motivation to work towards targets and improve performance• Confidence (or a desire to build confidence) speaking on the phone
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A team player who enjoys working in a structured office environment
• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or call centre experience (highly regarded but not essential)
• No prior sales experience required — full training provided
