Job Requirements

Set up a normal range of operation on a wide variety of parts using a variety of machines including, but not limited to punch presses, drill presses, grinders, belt sanders etc. Supply stock and remove parts when operations are completed. Responsible for proper set up including installation and adjustment of safety devices. Perform production work. May deliver or obtain material and equipment to/from any department and return same to stock. Clean a variety of relays or parts.

Operate small gate shears and power saws on a variety of repetitive work. Maintain saw and shear blades in proper conditions. Work from sketches, drawings, templates or layouts. Responsible for selection of correct stock in the stock room, machine shop, and fab areas.

Must be able to read blueprints and utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.

Requires knowledge of specialized and diversified material carried in the stockroom, and ability to interpret and fill in requisitions for tools and material. Is responsible for maintenance of die and tool condition and reordering as required.

Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.

What your background should look like

Minimum requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance.
• Completed ESD training per OP 1707, blueprint reading, mathematics, major machine operation, minor machine operation, miscellaneous machine operation.

Other: Be able to use measurement tools including, but not limited to 6” scale, combination square, micrometers, calipers, depth micrometer, feeler gauges, and height gauge.

Perform diversified assembly on a variety of products. This involves a considerable number of parts, close tolerances, and interrelated factors. May requires use of hand and power tools

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,841 – $51,521 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
