Packaging/Carton Designer

RemoteVA is looking for a Packaging/Carton Designer with hands-on experience in structural design for folding cartons (chipboard boxes). This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, creativity, and technical expertise in packaging design.

As a key part of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing packaging that is functional, brand-appropriate, and cost-efficient. Your work will be pivotal in helping our clients bring their products to market safely and stylishly.

Responsibilities

-Design and develop folding carton structures to fit specific product dimensions and client requirements. -Create dielines and 3D prototypes using ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design. -Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate specs and production readiness. -Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency, and branding. -Maintain organized project files and version control. -Optimize structural design for manufacturability and assembly. -Stay up to date with industry trends and materials.
