Job Summary
Holy Cross Academy is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Part-Time School Nurse to support the health and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate will promote a safe and healthy school environment by providing basic medical care, managing student health records, and collaborating with families and staff to meet student health needs.
Job Responsibilities
● Provide basic first aid and medical care to students and staff as needed.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunizations and medical plans.
● Administer medications in accordance with school policies and physician instructions.
● Monitor and manage student health conditions, including allergies, chronic illnesses, and emergencies.
● Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns and incidents.
● Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
● Promote health and wellness education within the school community.
● Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to support student health needs.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked health office.
Job Requirements
● Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
● Prior experience in pediatric, school, or community health preferred.
● Knowledge of child health, safety practices, and emergency procedures.
● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
● Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Holy Cross Academy.
