About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults? Grampians Health Ballarat are seeking a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across our Residential Aged Care Facilities and/or Subacute GEM ward.

In addition to clinical care, the role includes leadership responsibilities such as supervision, coordination of professional development, and service development to ensure contemporary clinical excellence across our residential aged care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and tailored care plans
• Deliver evidence-based treatment and interventions
• Lead falls prevention and risk management strategies
• Support and mentor junior staff and students
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and services

Skills & Experience

• AHPRA registration as Physiotherapist
• Experience in aged care or gerontology settings
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in mentoring and service improvement
