Job Summary

St. Ambrose Catholic School is seeking a Preschool After Care Assistant to support the supervision and care of preschool students during after‑care programming. The assistant helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise preschool students during after‑care hours
  • Assist with age‑appropriate activities, play, and quiet time
  • Ensure student safety and well‑being at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment
  • Communicate any concerns to the Preschool Director or school administration
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Support the mission and values of Catholic education

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Ability to interact positively with preschool‑aged students
  • Strong supervision and communication skills
  • Patience, reliability, and professionalism
  • Commitment to supporting Catholic education
