Our client is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to assist institutions, fintechs, and enterprises across the APAC region in adopting advanced custody and security infrastructure with confidence and ease. This role is both hands-on and client-facing, requiring the successful candidate to design integrations for complex environments, guide customers through deployment, and provide end-to-end technical support across key regional centers, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Seoul, and beyond. Combining deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, the individual in this role will serve as a trusted advisor to CTOs, architects, and engineering teams at banks, exchanges, custodians, and fintechs. Key duties involve designing tailored solutions, delivering technical proposals, troubleshooting issues in real time, and collaborating closely with backend, security, and product teams to ensure successful customer outcomes across multiple time zones, regulatory regimes, and languages. This position balances senior technical leadership with hands-on execution, reporting directly to the VP of Solutions Engineering and working in close alignment with Sales, Engineering, Security, and Product to drive regional growth.

Key Responsibilities • Act as the senior technical point of contact across the APAC region, advising clients from initial technical conversations through long-term production deployment. • Guide financial institutions and fintechs through seamless onboarding and integration workflows. • Build secure, scalable deployment pathways that bridge legacy and modern systems. • Provide hands-on technical support by troubleshooting, fixing, and building solutions alongside client engineering teams. • Collaborate with sales teams on technical proposals, demonstrations, RFP responses, and enterprise procurement processes specific to APAC markets. • Partner with internal security teams to ensure every integration meets security, privacy, and compliance standards, including local regulatory requirements (MAS, HKMA, JFSA, VARA, and others). • Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides tailored to the needs of regional developers. • Gather client feedback and translate insights into product and API improvements, serving as the regional voice of the customer. • Represent the client at regional conferences, workshops, hackathons, and industry meetings. • Develop playbooks and reusable integration patterns to scale service delivery across APAC.
