About the role:

Strategically oversees process governance, compliance and continuity of business process with appropriate EIT interventions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain procurement processes, policies, and related documentation across the Central Procurement Department (CPD).
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and communicate changes, best practices, and technology enhancements to procurement teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of Almarai’s procurement strategy and drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to enhance procurement systems and digital solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, compliance standards, KPIs, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Act as the key liaison between Almarai and outsourcing partners, ensuring effective collaboration, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of agreed objectives.
  • Monitor service levels and performance metrics, identify process deviations, and manage improvement actions and escalations when required.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance procurement capabilities and ensure consistent process execution across procurement teams and outsourcing partners.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA and/or CIPS certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, process improvement, or a related supply chain environment.
  • Proven experience in driving process optimization, governance, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing outsourcing partners and third-party service providers.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement operations, and data management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and technology-driven process improvements is preferred
